Biofeedback Defined

This technique teaches conscious control of biological processes - such as blood pressure, pulse rate, digestion and deep muscle tension - by monitoring physical responses. An electronic sensing device placed on the skin measures changes in skin surface temperature and chemistry that reflect internal physical changes. Biofeedbcak is used successfully by people who suffer from headaches, chronic pains and migraines.
